They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or manager.
Cookies may be grouped into three different kinds:
a. browsing or session cookies, which ensure normal browsing and use of the website (e.g. they allow a purchase to be made or enable authentication in order to access restricted areas);
b. analytical cookies, which are similar to technical cookies where used directly by the website manager to collect information, in aggregated form, about the number of users and how they visit the website;
c. functional cookies, which allow the user to browse on the basis of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided.
Users are informed that technical cookies do not require prior consent. The provision of data is essential for the purpose of browsing the website.
